Blue Water Natural Foods Company wants to sparkle in the Big Bend region of the Chihuahuan
Desert, offering a quencher for good food, complete customer satisfaction, a healthier community,
and an exciting atmosphere and experience.
Blue Water implements a unique system of taking orders once a month for the Big Bend residents
allowing them to order from a catalog featuring 20,000 different natural and organic products
including dry goods, perishables, frozen, fresh fruits and vegetables, personal care products, and
supplements. Then, three days out of the month, (i.e. Thursday, Friday, Saturday), customers can
conveniently come pick up their orders on any of these days.
By utilizing the “just in time” method of ordering what customers want, instead of having a full
fledged store that is open all the time, we incur less cost, and are able to pass the savings on to
our customers through discounts from Suggested Retail Price (SRP). We also have a large
selection of in-store inventory that changes monthly and is available on these days to anyone of
the community, even if they did not place an order.
Blue Water wants to offer exceptional products to the Big Bend area. We value a good, reliable
source of natural and organic products, and we hope to be this source for the greater Big Bend.
Our customers are our life force. We want to offer them ease of ordering. On pick-up days, we will
be open from 8:00 am until 6:00p.m., offering a wide window of opportunity for customers to pick up
their orders.
We will do our best to ensure that the check- out process is fast and convenient. We accept cash,
check, and all major credit cards. Blue Water will also load your items into your vehicle if you
desire. We appreciate and welcome our customers’ opinions and comments on how better to
service them. We will continually strive to ensure complete customer satisfaction; we realize that
without our valued customers, we are no longer a business.
Blue Water believes in better health for a better life. We take pride in doing our part to allow all the
people of the Big Bend the opportunity to access good food for healthier living and in turn creating
a more vibrant and harmonious community. Many of the products we offer are certified organic
meaning they have less chemicals added and are produced in a more environmentally-friendly way
towards the earth and it’s creatures, creating better tasting and more nourishing food.
The Big Bend area is secluded from larger cities by at least 150 to 300 miles; this poses a problem
for obtaining natural, organic products without spending incredible amounts of money on gas
alone, and increased pollution with many of the Big Bend residents doing this. One truck, which will
come from Denver, Colorado and in the near future a little closer from Dallas, Texas, will deliver to
our area at less of an impact to our environment. In the future, we hope to offer deliveries to the
surrounding communities of our customers, if our orders are large enough, to help even more with
cutting down on pollution.
We want our customers to look forward to their monthly orders with anticipation because of our
quality, service, and attention to detail. When customers pick up their orders, there will always be
new products to browse on our in-store inventory shelves, available for purchase. Customers will
have a leisurely experience picking up their orders when it is convenient for each. Our customers
will all have a common ground of eating food that is good for themselves and the environment; this
offers an invigorating place to meet and communicate with like-minded people.
